From May 12 to 15, MCIC delivered training on project cycle management in Hotel “Molika” in Bitola. Total of 15 representatives from Čaška, Veles, Konče, Prilep, Lozovo, Jegunovce and Radoviš attended the training.

“The most useful part of the training was the tree of objectives, the work on the positive examples and the group work i.e. practical exercises,” said Snežana Dervišova, senior officer in the Department for Construction and Maintenance of the Communal Infrastructure in Veles.

“I believe I will apply the knowledge and skills acquired with this training in my everyday work. Regarding the team that delivered the training, I believe they gave their best to answer all our questions and resolve the small problems we faced during the training, so I can conclude they are excellent trainers with high standards. The working environment in the group was excellent, so whenever I have an opportunity I would participate at any training organized by MCIC,” said Dervišova.

For Lidija Pljakova, LED officer in Čaška municipality, the training was very useful. Especially useful for her were the parts of the training referring to identification of problems, developing budgets for projects, Log Frame approach and the practical exercises. “The training materials we received were clear and concise, adjusted for everyone. The atmosphere in the working groups was excellent. If an opportunity arises, I would attend another training,” said Lidija.

During the training, the participants had an opportunity to learn more about the phases of the project cycle, success of the project, creation of a problem tree and objectives tree, logic of intervention, budgeting and allocation of resources and other topics important for preparation and implementation of a project.

The training was delivered by Miodrag Kolić and Valentina Čičeva, MCIC trainers.
