Sašo Klekovski – Co-chair of the Joint Consultation Committee |

At the consultation meeting held on April 14, 2009, the Macedonian delegation in the Joint Consultation Committee (JCC) has elected Sašo Klekovski, Chief Executive Officer of MCIC, to be co-chair of the Committee. The present members agreed that the Macedonian delegation would prepare its own rules of procedures, regulating the scope and methods of work. Until the rules of procedures are prepared, the co-chair will coordinate the work of the Macedonian delegation, particularly in preparation of the meetings of the JCC. The co-chair and the secretary will be responsible for the external communication, including Brussels. Secretary of the Macedonian delegation will be Zlatko Simjanovski from the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. The first meeting of JCC will be held in Macedonia. JCC is a joint working body of the Republic of Macedonia and the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC). JCC is responsible for the collaboration issues between Macedonia and EESC, particularly in the field of social and civic dialogue. Members of the Macedonian delegation are Mile Boškov and Lidija Grupčeva – representatives of Group 1: Employers; Vančo Muratovski and Slobodan Antovski - representatives of Group 2: Trade Unions and Sašo Klekovski and Darko Aleksov - representatives of Group 3: General Interest. In Group 2, Divna Zmejkovska and Jordan Sandev are elected as deputies and Ruzdi Ibraimi and Marjan Ristevski as observers. Additional observers are Mirjanka Aleksovska and Zlatko Simjanoski from the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and Gordana Jankovska from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
