MCIC has based its general strategy on empowerment of people, particularly the marginalized group, for participation in decision making processes, strengthening the capacities of the civil society organizations and creation of enabling environment for functioning of the civil society. The overall objective of the project is developed organizational and institutional capacities of the civil society organizations and the other actors of the civil society. The project purpose is to build the capacities of the CSOs for obtaining EU funds. The target group includes the actors of the civil society i.e. the formal civil society organizations and networks as well as all other actors of the civil society (trade unions, faith communities and others). Expected result of the project is: trained representatives of the civil society organizations and other actors of the civil society. The project activities will be realized through tailored training and consultations. The training sessions and consultations will include portfolio management with special focus on managing EU projects as well as preparation and delivery of new products in similar areas as necessary. MCIC is fully responsible for the project implementation. The funds for implementation of this program will be provided partially by the Evangelical Church Aid (Evangelische Zentraslstelle fur Entwicklungshilfe - EED) as well as from own funds obtained from the organizations that will cover the full cost for the training and consultations.
