Dear friends,

This year the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) celebrates 20 years of the foundation. Throughout the years MCIC established credibility for its target groups, partners, donors, institutions and the public in general. MCIC managed to become one of the most actively involved organizations in the Macedonian civil society, with clear vision and mission and goals and activities that put citizens’ needs in first place, accepting the biggest challenges in the society all the while. MCIC owes its success to many factors. Out of them probably the most visible for the citizens are the results achieved. However, we would like to add two more factors – MCIC’s values that define its work activities and the people responsible for those values and for managing and realizing the activities that led to their accomplishment. That is MCIC’s receipt for success.

The jubilees remind us of the beginnings and of all the achievements of the previous years, of the challenges we faced and the solutions we came up with. These celebrations are a great opportunity for us to express our gratitude for everyone that has been part of this successful story, but also to give ourselves credit for the accomplishments.

We start from today by giving one such “back-in-time travel”. In the 20 days campaign we’ll remind you of MCIC’s achievements. We’ll post one interesting story connected with some of the many projects realized every day. We’ll leave the presentations of the overall MCIC’s achievements for the end.

We’ll celebrate MCIC’s jubilee in December, hoping for many more challenges that will lead us throughout our work, many more hard-working and devoted people that will work on realization of our goals and many co-workers that will help in the realization of new achievements.
