REGIONAL FORUM “Youth's Efficiency and Resilience during the COVID 19 Pandemic: Today's Perspective in the Western Balkans” |

We are pleased to invite you to the Regional Forum “Youth's Efficiency and Resilience during the COVID-19 Pandemic: Today's Perspective in the Western Balkans.” The Regional Forum will be held online, on June 24, 2022. The goal of the Forum is to present an overview of the role of youth during the pandemic time by highlighting the legal aspects of enabling youth activity and by allowing CSOs to share the best practices of solidarity related to the topic. The Forum will also address the situation regarding the cross-sector coordination to include various stakeholders. Finally, at the Forum, policy recommendations will be proposed to address the problems and reduce the effects of the pandemic on youth. This regional forum is organized under the regional project “Fostering Regional Cooperation and Policy Responses in Time of Crisis,” funded by the Balkan Trust for Democracy (a project of the German Marshall Fund) and USAID, and implemented by: Partners Albania for Change and Development, the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation, the Centers for Civic Initiatives, the Centre for Development of Non-Governmental Organizations, Civic Initiatives, and the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation. Over 100 participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, Republic of North Macedonia, Serbia, and Montenegro are expected to participate in the event, including representatives of CSOs, regional networks, international organizations, academia, private sector, the media, relevant state institutions, and other relevant actors. Please note that translation will be provided in English, Macedonian, and Albanian, as well as for participants coming from Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
